Patient Care Technician Full Time

Patient care technician supporting the nursing team on a busy rehabilitation floor.

What you would be doing

• All the direct care duties of a nurse aide, on a floor with a faster turnover.
• Draw blood for the in house lab and label and log every sample.
• Run twelve lead EKGs and pass them to the nurse straight away.
• Prepare patients for therapy and help them back afterwards.
• Keep the electronic chart current before the end of your shift.

What you need

• PCT certification, or CNA plus phlebotomy.
• Current BLS.
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience, both of which move you up the range below.

What is offered

• $18.40 to $21.00 an hour. The top of the range is for phlebotomy and EKG together.
• Five eight hour shifts, days, with a weekend on a rotation.
• The facility pays for EKG certification if you do not already hold it.
